It is necessary for us to update our terms and conditions from time to time. However the terms and conditions in force at the time an order is placed will apply to that order.
We make every effort to ensure product images on our website accurately represent the product you receive however for the following reasons they may vary slightly.
During all order transactions a preview of the final print is shown for your review before you decide to purchase.
We are continually developing our products and will update their design from time to time as we find new ways to make them better. As a result new designs may be rolled out without prior notice so please closely review the preview before placing your order.
For each of our products we have tried to make the order process as simple as possible with step by step instructions leading you through the transaction. If you have any difficulties have a look at our FAQs page or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please check the details of your order at each stage and review the preview to ensure you are happy before placing your order.
Once you have purchased your product we will send you an email on receipt of payment confirming your order details. We will send you another email when the product is dispatched to you.
If we are unable to supply you with a product you have ordered we will contact you by email offering the option of a full refund along with any alternative options that are available.
Unless otherwise stated all prices and charges displayed on the website are in UK pounds sterling.
The price stated includes VAT charged at the UK’s applicable rate at the time of ordering.
You are responsible for paying any customs duties, sales taxes or any other charges made within your jurisdiction in connection with the delivery of products to you.
tracemaps reserves the right to periodically update prices on the website, which cannot be guaranteed for any period of time, when necessary.
Payment can be made using a debit or credit card or by redeeming a gift voucher at the checkout stage.
By placing an order with a debit or credit card you confirm you are the cardholder or that you have their express permission to use their card.
All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation and authorisation by their card issuer. If your card issuer declines the payment, you will be notified at the point of purchase.
Payment must be made in full before the goods are dispatched.
The cost of delivery to UK mainland addresses is included in the price of the product.
We can deliver to other countries but a supplementary fee may need to be charged separately. Please contact us for a quotation before placing your order if you require delivery outside of the UK mainland.
We will aim to deliver your items as quickly as possible but please allow up to 7 days for prints and gift cards and 14 days for framed prints to arrive from the date you place your order. These longer lead times are due to the bespoke nature of our maps as they are made to order.
Our standard size picture frames, A1 or A2 in size, can be returned for a full refund or exchanged for a different colour up to 30 days after your purchase.
Gift cards can also be fully refunded or exchanged up to 30 days after your purchase.
tracemap prints however cannot be refunded as they are unique to you and cannot be resold. You can preview your print on screen before placing your order.
Please note: Customers are responsible for ensuring all customised spellings, names and statistics that appear on their prints are correct before placing their order. Refunds will not be given if these have been entered incorrectly.
If you are eligible to return your frame for a refund or exchange please ensure it is undamaged and returned in its original packaging to the address below. Please send an email to email@example.com stating whether you would like a refund or exchange.
Customers are responsible for paying the return delivery fee and are advised to return their packages by a recorded delivery method with an adequate insurance value. Responsibility for the care of the product lies with the customer until we have received it back at tracemaps.
If you are eligible for a gift card refund or exchange please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating whether you would like a refund or exchange.
We package our prints and frames up very carefully, inspecting them before they leave us but in the unlikely event that your purchase has been damaged in transit we will do our best to correct this for you.
Please email email@example.com including photos of the damage and your preference for a replacement or refund and we will get back to you.
Right to cancel applies to our standard size picture frames, A1 or A2 in size and to our gift cards up to 30 days after your purchase. Please see point 4 above for return instructions.
tracemaps prints however cannot be refunded as they are unique to you and cannot be resold. You can preview your print on screen before placing your order.
tracemaps prints are created using .gpx format data uploaded by the customer. Inaccuracies with the data that is supplied to tracemaps could affect the accuracy of the print that is made. Customers are responsible for ensuring the data is accurate before uploading it to tracemaps or that they are happy with the reproduction of that data before placing their order.
Prints can further be customised with names and journey statistics. Their accuracy and correctness is down to the customer. Refunds will not be given if these have been entered incorrectly.
Customers can preview their print on screen before placing their order.
If you have made a mistake in your order or want to change any aspect of your order then please contact us as soon as possible. We are not bound to make any modifications to your order, but we will do our best to assist, whilst being under no obligation to do so.
The Seller (tracemaps Limited) shall not be responsible for:
Losses that were not caused by any breach on the part of the Seller; or
Any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure); or
Any indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both the Buyer and the Seller.
The Seller shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond its reasonable control. This condition does not affect the Buyer’s legal right to have goods sent within a reasonable time or to receive a refund if goods ordered cannot be supplied within a reasonable time owing to a cause beyond the Seller’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes the Seller’s responsibility for fraudulent representations made by it or for death or personal injury caused by the Seller’s negligence or willful misconduct.
tracemaps shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, failure of any communications, telecommunications or computer system, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the Seller shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
